This page explains how ai-productbuilder.com (the “Site”) handles your information and the terms under which you use it. The Site is a portfolio operated by Jules Villarta and Excelsior Consultancy Services, Cebu, Philippines. Questions: info@excelsior-consultancy.com.

The Site is a showcase of work. Browsing the Site does not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or any personal details while you browse.

The Site has two interactive features that involve your data:

• Lex, the AI assistant. When you send a message to Lex, the text you type is processed to generate a reply. We do not store your conversations, and there is no database of chat history. Messages exist only for the moment it takes to produce a response.
• The free chapter form. If you request the free chapter of AI-Powered Solopreneur, you provide your email address. We use it solely to send the chapter once. It is not added to a mailing list, and no follow-up emails are sent.

Consent records: when you submit the free chapter form, your explicit consent (the checkbox) is required and recorded as part of the request, together with the submission time. When you accept cookies on the cookie banner, that choice is stored in a first-party cookie so we can honor it on your next visit. These records evidence your consent under the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173).

To run the Site we use a small number of service providers who process data on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards:

• Anthropic (Claude API). Lex sends your chat message to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate a reply. Your message is processed by Anthropic under their terms and privacy policy. We do not use your messages to train any model, and we do not retain them after the reply is sent.
• Resend. The free chapter email and the signup notification are sent through Resend’s email service. Resend handles the delivery of the email you requested.
• Vercel. The Site is hosted on Vercel, which processes requests and serves pages. Vercel’s BotID protection checks chat traffic for automated abuse.
• Upstash. Optional rate limiting uses Upstash Redis, which may process your IP address briefly to enforce per-IP request limits.
• Google Analytics. Only if you accept analytics cookies on the cookie banner. Google Analytics measures how visitors use the site with IP anonymization enabled. If you choose "Essential only", Google Analytics is never loaded and no analytics cookies are set. Google's privacy terms apply to the data it receives.

Where your data is processed by international processors, we use providers that offer appropriate safeguards for the transfer of personal data.

Lex is an AI assistant. Its answers may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Nothing it says is professional, legal, financial, or HR advice, and it does not create a client relationship. Verify important details before acting on them, and contact a human at info@excelsior-consultancy.com for anything that matters.

By using the Site and Lex, you agree not to:

• Attempt to overload, abuse, or automate requests against the chat endpoint or any part of the Site.
• Use the assistant to generate unlawful, harmful, or abusive content, or to attempt prompt injection or system manipulation.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Site or its content without permission.

Access may be rate-limited or blocked to protect the service from abuse.

When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner asks for your choice. The Site uses the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

• Consent: a small first-party cookie (apb_consent) that remembers your cookie choice so the banner does not reappear on every visit. It is not used for tracking and expires after one year.
• Essential: Lex uses your browser’s temporary session storage only to keep a single chat session active while the page is open. It is cleared when you close the tab and is never used to track you across sites.
• Analytics: Google Analytics cookies are only set after you click "Accept all" on the cookie banner. If you choose "Essential only", Google Analytics is never loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

You can withdraw or change your analytics consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies (this resets the consent choice, so the banner will ask again) or by emailing info@excelsior-consultancy.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

The products, designs, written content, and the AI-Powered Solopreneur, The Excelsior Standard, and Claude Power User’s books referenced on this Site are the property of Jules Villarta and Excelsior Consultancy Services. External product links lead to separately operated services.

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate personal data.
• Request deletion or erasure of your personal data.
• Object to processing and withdraw consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (PH) or your local data protection authority.

Because the Site does not store chat history and holds no profile of you, there is normally nothing held about you to access, correct, or delete beyond the consent cookie on your own device and, if you requested the free chapter, the single email we sent. If you believe you have shared personal information through any channel and want it addressed, email info@excelsior-consultancy.com and we will respond consistent with RA 10173 and the GDPR.
